Tecktonik (also known as "tck","electro dance" "vertigo", "Milky Way") is a form of dance based on a blend of techno styles (late 80s vogue, 90s waving and old school breakdancing), started in 2007 in Paris at the outrageous club Metropolis by Hussein Ezzo and some other dancers.[1] The music Tecktonik is usually danced to is electro house. Tecktonic has not yet succeeded in creating its own musicgenre, even though multiple attempts have been made. Tecktonik originated in Paris, France and has grown in popularity through word-of-mouth and video sharing sites such as Dailymotion and YouTube.

1.Listen to the music: It's hard to explain what Tecktonik is. It's similar to techo. Once you hear enough of it, you'll know when a song is Tecktonik, and even what style of Tecktonik it is. 2.Dress like them: Put your hair in a Mohawk; for guys, it is really popular. Wear tight coloured pants with high tops that aren't laced up all the way. There is a new trash style where you just splatter paint on sunglasses or hats; it's really cool 3.Dance like them: Tecktonik dancing is so much fun once you get the hang of it. There are a lot of videos on you tube. Search for Jey Jey or SMBD, spoke, lecktra etc... 4.Recognize different styles of Tecktonik music and dance. There's Killer, Jumpstyle Hardjump just to name a few. Just watch, and learn. Eventually, you'll be able to tell a song's style just by listening to it. 5.Also they tend to favor either cargo shorts or pants and anything you could move freely with. Remember they aren't to picky with clothes and aren't very into fashion, most just want to dance and have a good time. *TIPS* -Look up the Wantek Tecktonik team and SMBD -Glowsticking (or, liquiding) is pretty awesome too! -You could also search up videos on YouTube and study they're movements very closely and pick and mix them into your own so you don't look like a poser.
